Spring Is In The Air

Yesterday was Taylor's first track meet. She is participating in the high jump and has hopes to learn pole vaulting as well. It was very cold and rainy and not spring like at all. She jumped 4' on her first try, but couldn't make 4'2". I think she just needs a little more practice!

A Conversation with Noah

Yesterday, in Primary, Noah was sitting on my lap and we had just finished singing "Families Can Be Together Forever." This is the conversation that we had:

Noah: Mom, am I going to be married on my mission?

Mom: No, you can get married after your mission.

Noah: Good. I am going to get married after my mission.

Mom. Really? Who are you going to marry?

Noah: Mom! I am going to marry Grace. (side note: He always says he is going to marry Grace).

Mom: Ok.

Noah: And then we are going to have children.

Mom: What are you going to name your children?

Noah: John the Baptist, Nephi, Jack and Scott.

Mom: Are you going to have any girls?

Noah: Oh, yes. I am going to name them Ang and Rachel.

I hope that Grace is okay with these names! Here is Noah's future wife:

Party Preparations

We are having Noah's 6th Birthday Party today! The theme he chose is Star Wars. He has been really into Star Wars lately. I bought all the party supplies at Wal-Mart. They had a good selection. I ordered a Star Wars cake from Shop-Rite. The guests should be arriving soon!

I would have loved to get Noah this cake, but thought that would be a little on the pricey side. You can see how the cake was made here.
